Wonderspring, a nonprofit early childhood education organization, is seeking a dedicated team member to support our PreK Counts Lead Teacher at our New Market West Center in a Preschool classroom.

About the Role
- Implement lesson plans along with the Lead Teacher
- Supervise children in your care
- Assist with all tasks associated with the daily schedule
- Teachers in programs participating in CACFP (Child and Adult Care Food Program) must follow additional serving and preparation procedures, including implementing family-style serving.
- Engage in Wonderspring staff meetings, attend in-services, external training programs, and actively participate in center events to foster professional development, collaboration, and a cohesive team environment
- Follow and adhere to the responsibilities outlined by the lead teacher for the classroom.
- Assume the lead teacher's classroom responsibilities in their absence.
- Comply with the partnership requirements of PreK Counts.
- Develop a strong relationship with your School District team
- Observe, document, and celebrate each child’s progress, sharing their victories (big and small) with proud parents.
- High School Diploma/GED
- Minimum of a Child Development Associate (CDA)
- 2+ years of experience working with children
- Strong teamwork and flexibility
- Ability to keep information private
- Basic knowledge of childcare rules
- Must meet all required clearances and health checks
