Wonderspring, a nonprofit early childhood education organization, is seeking dedicated team members to support our Early Head Start program (ages 0-3) at our Pottstown Center. We are hiring for both a Co-Teacher and a Float, depending on experience and interest.
Early Head Start Co-Teacher
This role partners with another Co-Teacher to create a nurturing, relationship-based classroom environment.
Early Head Start Float
This role provides flexible support across two classrooms, helping ensure consistent care and coverage throughout the center.

Early Head Start Co-Teacher
This role partners with another Co-Teacher to create a nurturing, relationship-based classroom environment.
- Partner with a co-teacher to plan and implement lesson plans and activities
- Share responsibility for all aspects of the classroom, including care, active supervision, and learning experiences.
- Provide responsive caregiving (feeding, diapering, sleep routines)
- Build strong relationships with children, families, and staff
- Observe and document children’s development
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment
Early Head Start Float
This role provides flexible support across two classrooms, helping ensure consistent care and coverage throughout the center.
- Support two Early Head Start classrooms throughout the day
- Assist with daily routines, including caregiving and active supervision
- Step into the classrooms to maintain ratios and continuity of care
- Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and staff
Qualifications
- Infant/Toddler Child Development Associate (CDA) credential (or willingness to earn it with a free course)
- 2+ years of experience working with children, infants and toddlers preferred
- Strong teamwork and flexibility
- Ability to keep information private
- Basic knowledge of childcare rules
- Must meet all required clearances and health checks
