Job Title: PHLpreK Lead Teacher
Location: Wonderspring – New Market West Center
Pay: $20.00 -22.28 per hour

Wonderspring, a nonprofit early childhood education organization, is seeking a dedicated team member to support our New Market West Center in a PHLpreK Preschool classroom as the Lead Teacher.

About the Role

Create and Implement lesson plans along with the Lead Teacher
Supervise children in your care
Lead and manage all tasks associated with the daily schedule
Develop a strong relationship with your School District team
Complete required documentation for the center, school district and child development
Build a strong, respectful relationship with your Assistant Teacher
Observe, document, and celebrate each child’s progress, sharing their victories (big and small) with proud parents.

Qualifications

Minimum of an Associate’s degree in ECE/EDU or a related field
2+ years of experience working with children
Strong teamwork and flexibility
Leadership to build a strong teaching team
Ability to keep information private
Basic knowledge of childcare rules
Must meet all required clearances and health checks
